New multi-surface coating debuts at The Scottish Decoration Federation Show 2026
Glasgow, UK. 1 May 2026 – Smith & Rodger announced the launch of DURO, its latest problem-solving paint developed for professional decorators. The product officially launched at The Scottish Decoration Federation Show 2026.
Developed for professional decorators and maintenance professionals, DURO is a tough, multi-surface paint engineered to combat mould and mildew while delivering a smooth, high-quality finish. Suitable for interior walls, ceilings, woodwork and trim, the product is ideal for areas where condensation and humidity are common, including bathrooms, kitchens, utility rooms, porches, changing rooms and wetrooms.
Powered by FLOW&BOND™ technology, DURO provides excellent flow, strong adhesion and strong coverage, helping decorators achieve a consistent finish with ease. The water-based formulation is highly scrub resistant and bonds strongly to previously painted surfaces, removing the need for a separate primer in most applications.
Available in Matt, Satin and Gloss finishes, DURO can be tinted in-store using water-based tinters and is supplied in 1L, 2.5L and 5L pack sizes, making it suitable for both residential and commercial projects.
Professional decorators who tested early samples have already praised the product’s performance.
