Who are we and what do we do?
The Decorators Forum UK is an online organisation created by Professional Decorators. We operate across several platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube. This website was set up primarily to give Trade Professionals a voice.
The content you’ll find on the Pro. Insight and Product Review sections of this site are also created by Professional Decorators. You’ll find honest opinions, expert insight, and tutorial type content.
We also share news from within the industry, so you can keep up-to-date with the latest product innovation, techniques, events and more.

Mike Cupit
Professional Decorator and Founder
Mike has been in the decorating industry since 2002 and has mostly worked as a Trade Decorator in the domestic sector (peoples’ homes). Self-proclaimed “product geek”, Mike has a passion for paint and decorating tools.
Mike now spends most of his time testing paint products and tools, comparing them to similar products on the market, and blogging about the industry in general.
Robin Gofton
Professional Decorator and Blogger
With years of decorating experience, Robin set up his own business – Wokingham Decorating Services – in 2007, carrying out mainly domestic work. He enjoys trying out new products and learning as much as he can about the decorating industry; a firm believer in the saying “You’re never too old to learn”. When not actually decorating, Robin spends his working hours blogging and writing product reviews.
Mike Gregory
Professional Decorator and Blogger
Mike is a Professional Painter and Decorator who works in the Northwest of England. He mainly sub-contracts for large decorating firms and works on a wide variety of projects. These include commercial, domestic, and new build houses.
Mike has an NVQ level 2 which he obtained through on-site assessment in 2010 and boasts two decades of industry experience under his belt. His love of the industry and expert knowledge makes him the perfect blogger for The Decorators Forum UK.
