Crown Paints has smashed its 2025 donation target, delivering more than 15,000 litres of paint to community projects across the UK – 50% above its original goal.
The milestone marks significant growth since the partnership with Wickes began in 2024, when 8,000 litres were donated. As the official Paint Partner for the Wickes Community Programme, Crown supplies charities and community groups with quality paint to refresh vital spaces. The initiative also tackles waste by repurposing surplus paint that would otherwise be recycled.
Projects spanning the country have benefited from the programme. The northernmost project in Scotland, Bailies of Bennachie – a community group preserving the natural environment around Bennachie – received three litres of paint. In Cornwall, 30 litres helped Falmouth Marine School transform their exterior space into a dedicated outdoor classroom and practical work area where students can engage in hands-on learning activities with greater confidence and security.

This partnership sits at the heart of Crown Paints’ Project Possible initiative – an ambitious strategy driving sustainability, community support, education and positive workplace culture. Through initiatives like this, Crown is building a more sustainable operation while making a tangible difference to the decorating industry and local communities.
