Latest launch from Smith & Rodger targets furniture upcyclers with high quality microcrystalline wax
Smith & Rodger has relaunched its SuperWax Polish to the market with a fresh look. The microcrystalline wax polish has been manufactured by the company for 80 years and has typically been used for reviving and protecting antique furniture, painted furniture (including chalk paint) leather, paintings, metal and marble. It is also suitable for bare wood when limited protection is required without significantly altering the colour.
SuperWax Polish is a Microcrystalline Wax Polish of the highest quality. It has been used by the Palace of Holyroodhouse in Edinburgh, Scotland, to nourish and protect their wooden furniture.
This easy to apply Microcrystalline wax dries clear, resulting in a soft, satin, water repellent finish and leaves a very pleasant aroma.
To use, just apply sparingly with a soft cloth, leave for 15 minutes to dry and then buff off with a separate cloth. For a deeper shine apply further coats by cloth or rub into the surface using superfine steel wool and then buff off. If applying over a painted surface, ensure the paint is fully cured before application of SuperWax. Superwax can be reapplied as needed to maintain the look for years to come!
One 325ml tin will cover approximately 3 square metres.
