Dulux Decorator Centre, the painting and decorating merchant, is pleased to announce the appointment of Sarah Atkins as its new Managing Director, effective 1st February.
Having been an integral part of Dulux Decorator Centre for the past eight years, Sarah joined the business as Marketing Lead, before advancing to Head of Retail Marketing, and subsequently to Commercial Director in 2023. Sarah’s career has spanned omni-channel multi-site retail and wholesale organisations, financial services and leisure, and her experience has enabled her to drive successful commercial outcomes from both supplier and customer perspectives.
Sarah succeeds Guy Butterworth, who after 30 years of dedicated service, will be leaving the business. Throughout these years, Guy has provided exceptional leadership to Dulux Decorator Centre, strongly contributing to the company’s growth and success. Having started out as a delivery driver, he’s been an inspiration to all Dulux Decorator Centre colleagues, and will be missed throughout the business.

Sarah will sit on the wider AkzoNobel UK management team, and at Dulux Decorator Centre will be supported by the leadership team comprising:
