Purdy is set to Showcase Tools and Announce ‘Mentor of the Year’ Winner at This Year’s Painting and Decorating Show
Professional painting tools manufacturer Purdy will be exhibiting at the National Painting and Decorating Show this year on the 21st and 22nd November at the Coventry Building Society Arena. Located on stand 47 and 48, the company will be showcasing its full range of products, announcing the winner of its ‘Mentor of the Year’ competition and hosting a product giveaway.
Purdy will be showcasing its extensive brush range, including the XL Elite Monarch and Pro Extra Monarch, both of which feature thicker filaments to aid paint pick up for improved productivity. The Dale will also be on display, with its square-edged ferrule to provide complete control and accuracy around windows and door frames. The winner of this year’s Purdy Mentor of the Year competition will also be announced at the show. In its third year, the competition aims to recognise those in the industry who inspire the next generation of professional painters and decorators.
Purdy understands that professionals require both a high level of skill and craftmanship to stand out to customer demands and deliver great results. Therefore, Purdy has asked those learning the trade to nominate people who have had a positive impact on their learning. One nominated college lecturer and one professional painter and decorator will be selected as winners, receiving £1,000 each at the show. Those who nominated the winners will also each receive a new Purdy backpack, filled with Purdy products. One runner up college lecturer and one professional painter and decorator will also each receive £500.
Finally, visitors to the stand can sign up to the Purdy mailing list for a chance to win a fully loaded Purdy backpack, filled with tools and brushes, while two runners up will also receive a Purdy backpack.
