One of our last projects was this great feature bathroom , it had not had a coat of paint in around 20 years and had many years build up of candle smoke so had blackened all the ceilings and pillars
We hand washed it all down first then put a coat of zinsser sealer on the ceilings to seal the water marks etc
The ceilings and Cornice then had a further 4 coats of Dulux trade Supermatt
The pillars had 2/4 coats of light cream Dulux trade oil based eggshell.
