New Crown Decorating Centre to Open in Milton Keynes

National demand sees Milton Keynes named as new location for the Centre

Crown Paints are set to add a splash of colour in Milton Keynes next month by opening a new Crown Decorating Centre (CDC) store in the town.

Creating four new jobs, the Milton Keynes store opens on Monday 6th December and will be located on Chancerygate Business Centre, Goulds Close.

CDC’s are designed to give both tradespeople and at-home DIYers a one-stop destination for products and advice for their paint projects.

Milton Keynes has been chosen as the location for the new centre after demand from national customers for a CDC to be opened in the area. The opening will mark the ninth CDC to open in the UK this year, with plans to roll-out several more new CDC’s in 2022.

To mark the store’s launch, the Milton Keynes CDC is offering customers 30% off their first purchase* across its range of products, which include; interior, exterior and designer paints and wallpaper, as well as decorating supplies and equipment from Crown Paints and other leading brands.

The CDC will also offer the hugely popular ‘Can Back’ recycling scheme, where customers can return any branded old paint cans to be recycled responsibly. The scheme recycles more than 200 tonnes of empty paint cans annually through CDC’s. The store will also recycle decorative plastic through its Plastic Back scheme – the first of its kind among the popular paint brands.

Naiem Wafa, CDC Network Director, said: “We’re delighted to be launching our new store in Milton Keynes, one of the UK’s fastest-growing towns.  Our current expansion represents a significant opportunity to grow our market share, by increasing our network in the UK, as we approach 150 stores.  Kamil and team will offer customers the largest range of trade product in town!”

Kamil Litwin, Store Manager at CDC Milton Keynes, said: “I’m really looking forward to opening our new store and connecting with the local trade and home DIYers in Milton Keynes and the surrounding area.   With a wide range of products, a free next day delivery service and a colour match service we’re excited to bring something new to Milton Keynes and to be a part of the local community”.

This is probably due to their “down to earth” approach and having their ethics in the right place. Plus, the stores are like an Aladdin’s cave of goodies!! All kinds of different brands from Crown Trade to Zinsser and Smith and Roger!! Everything the modern decorator could want really.
