Life of A Decorator – Just Finish A Job and Move on!!

By Sean Knowles

I may be alone on this one!

I see people using 20kg bags of easifil to sort out sh*t new plastering. How the hell do you add that to your diary??Are you all running weeks behind, or do you just work longer hours? If the plastering is sh*t, it’s not your problem!! Get the mud slinger back.

Old paint on sockets, door keeps, hinges etc. It’s been there for years! It isnt your paint, so it isn’t your problem!! You’re a decorator not a cleaner! If the client wants bright and shiny tell them to buy new. If the last painter left paint spots on the floor, do you clean that too?

Do a good job, get paid. move onto the next one. Stop making out you’re a f***ing heart surgeon!! Its painting!!
