Increase coverage of your Masonry Paint by 20% with Flow & Bond

The Easter holidays and beyond in the UK signal that time when people start to think about refreshing their exteriors spaces and freshening up the outside of their homes as well as the inside.

The latest product from Smith & Rodger that is receiving great feedback from the trade is Flow & Bond – a paint conditioner that aids adhesion, flow, and coverage on both interior and exterior water-based paints.

Flow & Bond will help your exterior projects run smoothly (pardon the pun) by helping to create a stronger bond to stone substrates, enhance your coverage allowing your paint to go as far as 20% further, and help to give you a smoother finish.

If your exterior paints are water-based, you can add Flow & Bond. Here are some examples of projects that would benefit:

  • Great for adding to masonry paints to help create a strong, peel resistant bond to stone substrates.
  • Great for adding to paint for UPVC to give a smooth finish on doors with better adherence so increases resistance to scratching.
  • Great for adding to paint for exterior wood, such as fences and sheds, to make your paint go further.
  • Great for upcyclers to increase adhesion and reduce brush or roller marks on plastic or wood furniture.

It’s not just suitable for exterior use though, you can also add it to your water-based interior paints too! A perfect example would be for painters and decorators to mix into paint for new plaster to aid adhesion and increase coverage.

All in all, Flow & Bond is pretty useful!

How to use it

Add 1 part Flow & Bond to 10 parts water-based paint to make brushing, rollering and spraying easier, aid bond/adhesion, save time & money & increase coverage. So, for a 2.5L tin, add 250ml of Flow & Bond, and stir thoroughly. It’s that easy!

Flow & Bond can be mixed into paints that are designed for:

  • Masonry
  • UPVC & Plastic
  • Plaster
  • Wood
  • Glass
  • Varnished Surfaces

Available from stockists around the UK including Brewers Decorating Centres, TopDec Decorating Supplies, Decorating Centre Online, Trade Secrets, The Paint Shed and several independent stockists.

Comments from happy customers on Trust Pilot include:

Found this product at painting and decorating show. Used it for the first time a week ago. On the job. I was on using Farrow and ball and I have to say the difference when added to paint is quite unreal splendid stuff.
