Diversity in Decorating

By Ash Powell

As a decorator, do you offer any other services? I found decorating day in, day out a little bit boring, so I trained in resin driveways. There isn’t much difference in what I earn hourly, whether I’m on a resin or painting job. I just enjoy the diversity.

I’ve completed two jobs this week, a small exterior painting job and one rather magnificent driveway. It’s been the perfect week really.

In a nutshell, if you feel like it’s all getting boring, learn something new. I think as long as it’s  decorative, you will get the same amount of job satisfaction out of it. You never know, you may even find something that increases your income significantly.
