Armstead Trade paints returned to the road with Fix Radio this year to challenge tradespeople to ‘get the job done’ in the Armstead Trade Arena. Located outside Greggs stores nationwide from May 13 to June 21, the Armstead Trade Arena saw 170 people compete in the challenge which included four fun and simple tasks that had to be completed under timed conditions and within the confines of a single parking space.
Simon Lukins, an electrician from Somerset, took first place with an impressive time of 29.28 seconds. He said: “I’m delighted to be the first-place prize winner for the Armstead Trade Arena. It was great fun and something different and exciting – and I can’t believe I completed it in the fastest time!”
The second-place winner, Dave Brock from Cardiff, had a time of 29.81 seconds – meaning there was only half a second between first and second place. Ruby Kenniston, the third-place winner of the Armstead Trade Arena Challenge with a time of 30.93 seconds, commented: “I’m generally quite shy, but the Fix Radio team really brought me out of my shell and made me feel comfortable enough to get involved in the Armstead Trade Arena. It was a lot of fun and I’m so pleased to have won third place. I will use my Ticketmaster prize voucher to go and see some live standup comedy – which is something I’ve always wanted to do.
“I use Armstead Trade Vinyl Matt quite regularly as it offers great coverage and price. However, I didn’t know much about the brand or wider range before attending the Armstead Trade x Fix Radio roadshow. I have since been recommending it to my friends and family and will be using it myself to decorate my new house.”
The roadshow was an opportunity for tradespeople to find out more about the Armstead Trade range of paints and what makes them the perfect partner to enhance projects and help ‘get the job done’ efficiently and to a good standard.
Those who took part were battling for the crown of Armstead Trade Arena Champion, as well as a chance to win up to £1,000 in Ticketmaster vouchers – to be used on anything from seeing a favourite sports team to concert tickets. Tradespeople were also able to enjoy a free Greggs breakfast, as well as vouchers for free Armstead Trade paint products, so they could ‘get the job done’ for even less.
